El presidente de México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), aseguró que no aumentarán los precios de las gasolinas ni de la luz pese al conflicto entre Rusia y Ucrania.
El mandatario presumió de un “balance positivo” en las finanzas públicas por los excedentes del precio del crudo mexicano, que está al doble de lo presupuestado por el Gobierno ante la crisis de Ucrania.
“No tenemos necesidad de aumentar los precios de las gasolinas porque se compensan los subsidios que estamos dando a la gasolina con los excedentes del precio del petróleo crudo. Entonces estamos haciendo un balance y es positivo para la Hacienda Pública”, declaró en su conferencia mañanera.
Destacó que la mezcla mexicana de crudo ronda los 115 dólares por barril, el nivel más alto desde el sexenio de Felipe Calderón (2006-2012).
El precio contrasta con lo proyectado en el presupuesto oficial de Hacienda de 2022, que contempla un precio de 55.1 dólares por barril e ingresos petroleros por más de 1,087 billones de pesos (casi 51,000 millones de dólares).

Pero ante el alza de costos, el Gobierno de México también decretó el domingo un estímulo fiscal de 100% del impuesto especial sobre producción y servicios (IEPS) que pagan los consumidores por la gasolina Magna y el Diésel.
“La mayor parte (de los excedentes) va a compensar lo que podría significar los incrementos en los precios de los combustibles. Para decirlo con claridad, lo utilizaríamos para subsidiar los combustibles”, explicó este martes López Obrador.
