El ministro presidente de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (SCJN), Arturo Zaldívar, afirmó hoy, 16 de diciembre de 2021, que existe un nuevo Poder Judicial y que ahora el reto es consolidar los cambios
“Puedo afirmar que tenemos un nuevo Poder Judicial Federal y que el próximo año el reto es consolidar lo que hemos logrado en estos primeros años”, dijo en entrevista para Despierta.
Explicó que se propuso lograr un cambio radical para transformar y modernizar el Poder Judicial y al inicio tuvo que enfrentar mucha resistencia.
“Grupos de interés internos y externos al Poder Judicial fueron una oposición muy intensa para poder llevar a cabo los cambios”, sentenció.
El ministro presidente detalló que durante su primer año frente a la SCJN se desarticularon estas redes de resistencia y de corrupción y se logró avanzar.
Puntualizó que a partir de que se logró la Reforma Judicial se han venido logrando los propósitos que asumió antes de tomar el cargo de presidente de la SCJN.
Sobre el fenómeno del nepotismo, que se daba anteriormente, señaló que actualmente en todos los tribunales y juzgados ya no hay titulares que tengan familiares trabajando con ellos.
Respecto a la equidad y paridad de género afirmó que se ha avanzado muchísimo. Dijo que se han nombrado más magistradas y juezas de distrito en esta administración que en cualquier otra.
“Más del 60% de los nombramientos de titulares en mi administración han sido mujeres”.
Dijo que se han impulsado las licencias de paternidad, una medida inédita prácticamente en toda América.
